How to attach a signature

This tutorial will help help you attach a signature to all of your posts, but please remember that it only takes effect on the posts you've made AFTER you have edited your sig (it will not add the signature to previous posts).

Step 1: Getting in your profile

You're going to need to get to your profile in order to edit your signature. Scroll to the top of the page and click on the "Profile" tab, located between "Groups" and "Messages".




Step 2: The Sig Tab
This is the easiest step. Now that you are in the profile section, just click on the "Signature" tab, like in the image below.




Step 3: Adding Your Signature
This is the hardest part of the tutorial. Your screen should now look like the one below (without the editing of course). Now to make your signature you're going to need one thing: An image link (unless you want a text based signature). You can use the area to type a message or put a picture.



Just like the rest of the forum, the signature area uses something called "BB Codes" which is similar to HTML but uses ['s instead of >'s. To add an image use the following code:

Make sure to hit SAVE after you are done making your signature, or if you would like click PREVIEW to see what it looks like (it will show up above the textbox). After you have saved it go back to the top and click on the "Preferences" tab.

Step 4: Making your sig "Viewable"
Alright, now that you have your sig created you should probably know that it isn't viewable YET (this is optional as in some cases this already comes turned on). You have one last thing to do; you should already be in the "Preferences" section of your profile editing, if you aren't there yet, go there now. Once there you will see a lot of options, look near the bottom of the screen there is a checkbox that says "Always attach my signature", all you have to do is click "Yes" then you click save at the bottom of the screen. YOU'RE DONE!
